Bale delivers as always. He continues to cement himself as an all time great. The actor that portrays Poe was also very good. Interesting story and took an unexpected twist at the end. Would recommend. Re-watchability might not be too high however

If you love Christian bale movies - more the prestige versus the Batman - you will like this one.

A little slow. Bale is amazing as always, as is Edgar Poes character. Solid watch

Visually it’s beautiful, but the whole movie was unbearably slow for me personally. There’s a good twist in the movie. But overall by the time it happens I really just was ready for the movie to be over with. Not my cup of tea. 4.5/10
