great film, color pallet is gorgeous, christian bale being a bad ass although there wasn’t really much dialogue from his role. definitely wish the ending was better, kinda disappointed lowkey. although it’s still a solid watch just bc of bale ofc. 7 / 10

Solid flick, wishing the ending was a little better

A really well acted, incredibly dark thriller/action movie. Fantastic lead actors and setting.

I'm having a tough time reviewing the film -

A) They start & end with a Pearl Jam song which automatically makes it good, right?!

B) The cast is loaded; Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Forest Whitaker, Sam Shepard, Willem Dafoe, Woosy Harrelson.

C) The story wasn't bad.

D) Somehow it just didn't land. It should have been so, so good & it just wasn't. It was 🤷‍♀️

Bales best?

Super Rollenverteilung! Jeder Schauspieler hat sich in seine Rolle gefunden. Dieser Filter, zusammen mit den Locations, hat dem Film ein gewisses Drama-Feeling gegeben, was sehr gut war. Die Musik zudem war passend, und das Ende hatte eine gute Geschwindigkeit.
