Christian Bale is amazing in this historical film. The beauty of the scenery, music, & emotions shown by the entire cast almost made me cry. I connected with the humanity & humility of the characters, their growth through mistakes or adversity, & their reconciling of differences.

While it’s a bit problematic in its execution at times, this is a very good western about the racial prejudice that existed in this time and the consequences of it and violence. Christian Bale is great in the lead role and the cinematography is perfect
