I’m slowly doing a rewatch of MI movies. After watching this, I can see this movie was the true start of the franchise. 1 & 2 were very basic in storytelling but this film made the series worth coming back to year after year

Underrated in the franchise IMO. The set pieces are great, Hoffman is stellar, and the finale is heart pounding. Do wish there was a bigger destination filming location, though.
