Mission: Impossible II

Despite the obnoxiously overdramatic nature of several sequences, there are still a number of amusing moments of action and a modestly competent emotional interaction or two. In the overall it’s kinda forgettable.

Story very basic but Tom cruise is dreamy as ever. I give credit for the line “this isn’t mission difficult, this is mission impossible”. Fell asleep during climactic final scene.

Can’t believe that’s not Zoe Saldana but I guess it’s Maeve from Westworld and my mom asked me and my dad why we care so much about what other movies a given actor in a movie is in

Spy Kid Fast and Furious

Yea easily the worst mission impossible and just in general a bad movie. The cinematography was horrible and there was wayyyyy too many slow mo action shots and face close ups and slow mo face close ups and slow mo in general. This movie was 2 hours but actually felt like 4 because of that. The action scenes dragged and weren’t well choreographed, they also lasted way too long and were too dramatic for their own good. This movie falls short because the main focus of the movie ends up being on the damsel in distress rather than the world threatening virus. It ends up overshadowing everything else. I guess watch this movie if you’re doing a full binge of the M:I movies for the first time, but otherwise skip. 3/10.

Much better than the first part more action scenes and overall very good with many aura scenes and stunts.
