The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

This movie really takes its time to be told, but I’d say the payoff is worth it for the most part. Lots of great moments of intensity, and scenes are shot really well, the train robbery scene especially. I felt it was a bit slow for the entire movie, which is already lengthy.

The story feels like a journey and you’re fully immersed in said story. Incredible performances and excellent production design. The narration was unexpected but works very well. One of the most high quality films I’ve seen all year
