The greatest short series I have ever watched. Beautifully done cinematography, incredible acting (other than Freddie, they almost ruined the show for me, they were most definitely a diversity pick), and wonderfully entertaining story. I have seldom seen such excellence in film.

no need to compare the series and the movie. same plot, very different executions. the show is great and stands on its own and gives you a more thorough look into the story. super nice cinematography. a bit slow in the beginning but once it gets going it stays intriguing 8.9/10

The B&W was cool but considering the setting in Italy and the time period I would’ve liked to see a muted color palette. It’s a decent interpretation but I felt like the MC was artificially delivering lines sometimes (and not when he was actually supposed to be doing that).

BRUH WAS MESSY. the detective not realizing tom was dickie when he grew his hair out was crazy work…somehow made the show more light hearted. i like the different spin on the original movie. i think it was different enough that it worked
