A Gentleman in Moscow

This was such a good show. Heartfelt and heart warming. Vibrant and insightful. I wasn't a huge fan of the book. This was everything I wished the book had been.

Review: never read the book but I thought this was a wonderful show. Definitely slower paced but Ewan Mcgregor has been fantastic in everything I’ve seen him in. Beautiful story and visuals, but a bittersweet ending for sure.

Lots of inspiration from Grand Budapest Hotel, and while there was some disjointed pacing and eye-rolling dialogue at times, it all came together for an ending that made it worth it. I just wish that they had gone with a Russian-speaking cast, would have really helped with the immersiveness
