The Village

This was when the wheels started falling off the bandwagon Shymalan bandwagon. People kept expecting the twist of the 6th Sense. This didn't have one, but it's a great little movie that forces you to confront the small horrors we permit as a society to keep true brutality at bay.

I don’t care what anyone says; this movie is one of M. Night Shyamalan’s finest works. (I know, I know, that’s not saying a lot. Let me have this okay?)

This film’s biggest strength is its creepy atmosphere and weight of inclement danger. The problem for me is that even though the twists were surprising, they killed that atmosphere and tension for me. I think Shyamalan delivered what his goal was, it just didn’t fully work for me

at first i was kinda confused with the storyline, but then i was hooked as i kept watching!! really good!! fs recommend

4/10 was alright a little slow and dragged out. Wanted more from it
