this movie used to scare me when i was little, but i used to love it so much. i still do, its a really good thriller!

There's so many plotlines at play, all dressed up in an alien invasion. The movie mostly revolves around one of the all-time Shyamalan scenes, "People break down into two groups. When they experience something lucky, group 1 sees it as more than luck, more than coincidence. They see it as a sign, evidence, that there is someone up there, watching them. Group 2 sees it as just pure luck". You begin to rethink all the times in life were the amount of 'coincidence' turns into belief in a higher power. Loved the cast and most of the camerawork, I wish it was more engaging but all those answers lobbed in the end made it worth it.

Bro I slept on this for so long. Finally ended up watching it bc I liked “Trap” and this one was also good. One of the best alien movies I’ve seen fs. Great story, emotional, great acting and really hits throughout. I’m kind of surprised I don’t hear this mentioned more. 👍👍
