pacing is kind of weird at some points but still amazing

Super depressing. Pretty similar to all the other “romance” movies about heroin addicts, but with al Pacino in a black hoodie, which really does it for me for some reason. But then he’s addicted to heroin which is like,,,,major turn off you know. Poor Helen she got roped into this dudes world of fucking horseshit. But maybe not too much poor Helen cause like why do you stay with a guy who does heroin and like the third thing he said to you he was bragging about how many times he’s been to jail. But it’s al Pacino so can I really blame her. No I can’t.
