i used to loveee this movie as a young kid so i decided to rewatxh it has very pedopholic undertones+ learned the director is a pedo plus there was supposed to be a sex scene which is just disgusting plus more gross stuff that (luckily) got cut

2/10-gave me the ick. The Director is a pedo and this film was an inspiration from his relationship with his first wife who was 15 and he was 31. She then got pregnant and married him at age 16. Just sick 🤢

If you look past the fact that their relationship is pedophilic it is an okay movie. Like it could be seen as Matilda feeling the kindness of a parental figure for the first time and so she shows it the only way knew how it but even then Leon was into it. So… just a little weird.

Good but could’ve been better without the romance plot. That was just weird
