Started off very slow but got creepier as it went. Not super scary in comparison to today’s films but definitely eerie.

To say this started a massive (and infamous) horror franchise, it’s really quite average. The only thing worth noting is it’s got a good score which weirdly got the film an Oscar nomination, ‘79 must’ve been a crazy year
