Salem's Lot

I’ve never seen the original so I have nothing to compare to, but I enjoyed this movie. It’s campy and cheesy at times but it fits the vibe of the movie.

Slightly cheesy but I think it matched the entire 60/70s vibe…nice creepy eerie feeling with some comedy as well…a fun little watch..nothing scary truthfully but it is a good lil camp movie 7.7/10

Mark was the only sensible smart person in this movie and the Doctor but she’s an adult Mark had all the sense and he was 11 so he gets more points

Once in school, I read the book. Watching the movie brought back all the thrill I felt back then. It’s an amazing adaptation—truly captured the essence of the story. I’d watch it over and over again without getting tired. Absolutely worth it!

This was a massive disappointment to me. The original gave me nightmares as a kid, and this whole thing felt like a CW version of a much better movie. They made some small changes to keep the story fresh, but nothing could save the bad dialog, rushed story, and the subpar acting.
