somehow went into this movie thinking that it was about zombies. don’t ask me how i do not know

this movie will forever have my heart.. the acting, writing and the twist 🫠 soooo good

To get the full authentic experience I watched without subtitles and not dubbed. Didn’t really understand it too well, as my Korean isn’t great, but the story seemed pretty good. Would watch again

after watching for the second time, this movie is so much more infectious than i remembered. it forces you to contemplate every little detail from the score, cinematography, cast, pace, etc. it’s fucking intense and insane in the absence of chaos. the overwhelming theme of ‘smell’ captivated me entirely and compels one to empathize more than one might due to the Kim’s devious exploits. but the Park’s are pretty likable which just speaks volumes to the writing… even people you want to hate, you kinda can’t.

First of all, after rewatching I have to bump it up to a love. It’s such a heavy watch because of the intensity. So many scenes genuinely made me anxious, specifically when they’re all in the living room after camping….like are you kidding?!

The acting, cinematography, characters, themes, plot twists, everything is just so good. The ending 😖😭😩 Ki-jung deserved so much more. Also they should’ve left the last 10 seconds off but I understand that it’s not always a happy ending. Well deserving of all of its awards.

Really smart movie! Funny , exciting with suspense and quite some drama also!
