Boring, don’t understand how it took the in for cinematography when the camera was on a slow spinning tripod for every scene. Didn’t need to see someone’s wiener while he did martial arts. The only good scene is the parking scene.

Cleo’s quiet heroism and the family’s struggles mirror the political chaos surrounding them, and Cuarón’s attention to detail makes every scene feel like a painting come to life. It’s a story that’s both intimate and universal, hitting emotional notes you’ll carry for long.

It's a beautifully crafted film, that feels very personal for the filmmaker. Some of the scenes were great, but the pacing is super slow, and a lot of time is devoted to scenes where nothing happens. It's not for everyone, and sadly despite how much I wanted to like it, it wasn't
