Monkey Man

Got to see the world premiere at SXSW and my now the future looks brighter than ever for cultural storytellers. Hats off to Dev Patel for pulling off the seemingly impossible and looking devilishly handsome doing it.

First off, I’m very impressed with the fact that Dev Patel co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the leading role of this film. I really enjoyed the brutal action scenes and the visceral cinematography, even though it was a little nauseating and hard to see at times

Monkey Man was insane, adrenaline packed, and beautifully gritty! Give Dev Patel his flowers !!! Some of the shots, OMG

It was okay but it was predictable and like a John wick spin-off

Mumbai’s john weak, great fights

maybe it's bc i watched this with a boy i only went out with bc my parents liked him but this movie was just meh, very fast paced if that's your taste
