Dìdi (弟弟)

what a powerful & beautiful film. it transmits growing up in the 00’s so well. the diversity of friend groups, and trying to be someone you aren’t. it’s really well written, although i did want more, was not expecting the ending at all. the cinematography is phenomenal, the cast, the editing, the sound design, & god i loved didi’s mom so much. i’m gonna txt my mom i love her rn bc of it. it’s a bitter sweet film, but it’s definitely a must watch. 8.5 / 10

a masterpiece, not only was a very realistic emotional story. it was also hilarious, it balance comedy with drama perfectly. the aspects of adolescence such as the texting and awkwardness were done great. the whole movie was a roller coaster of me praying for Chris's happiness.

Can’t speak on the culture part of the movie but looking in a different POV of a race that’s not very well shown in media even today is refreshing and interesting. Especially a teen finding his was though life, this movie has my heart❤️

My kind of movie. Really great film I wished I watched it in theaters when I got the chance. I didn’t even see any promotion for this but it would’ve been worth buying a ticket
