Manchester by the Sea

Tough movie, real life shit a lot of other movies stay away from.

Extremely overrated. Yes the acting was good, the portrayal of grief and loss, and not being able to move on was really good, but apart from that what else was there. No action, extremely slow dialogue and plot. Just a very dull movie. Only scene I liked was the police scene.

Bro I really just shed a tear watching this. I’m hungover af which made this movie even more depressing but the story telling in it was so good. Casey Affleck was was amazing.

This was a fantastic movie, I loved pretty much everything about it. Casey Affleck kills it as Lee, and the story kept evolving throughout in a way that was really well done. The humor and sadness was mixed well throughout this film and the setting played a good role in the film. Overall fantastic movie, a solid 9/10
