i have a weird take on this film. before saying anything, i want the say i thought the book was good and im going to explain why: the book was in no way intended to romanticize pedophilia, twisted fantasies, or anything else that the content was centered around. comments -> (1/?)

i litterly cant get through this movie its so upsetting

way too much quilty in the beginning (he doesnt show up until late pt 2 in the book) and skips over all parts that showcase humbert's crimes and perversion, barely even lolita
