Late Night with the Devil

Wanted to see it but boycotting. Havent seen it and wont be. they cheaped out and use AI art WHICH IS THEFT so its getting an automatic dislike from me

Gonna start off and say I don’t give about the AI art because in my eyes its not really that big of a deal, AI art has been used for years now (10+) and its only really become a problem because consumer versions of it are being forced down everyones throat as of late (ya’ll had no problem with it for the past 10 years, find a better way to be a victim)

All that garbage aside, this movie is good, I enjoyed every bit of it and the practical effects really sold me and reminded me a little of the classics like Evil Dead II

Dang this was a let down. I can say I enjoyed it but I was just so disappointed in the execution and overall flow of the movie. The CGI was awful, the characters were unlikable, and it just wasn’t a clear plot or story. It had cool elements and suspense but also a dull slowburn

overall a good film and premise; ending was a tad too campy for me but enjoyed it.

Loved it. It really creeped me out. David Dastmalchian was so good. Well worth the hype. I love analog horror so much. I wish it had focused on the analog bits throughout the entire movie, but I still loved it. I wish we found out more about The Grove though.
