One of my favorite modern westerns. I loved Christian Bale and Russel Crowe’s performances. Loved how he’d do anything to support his family even if that meant he’d die. And I loved how at the end Russel Crowe felt sympathy towards Christian Bale to the point he avenged him.

Russell Crowe is amazing, outlaw who gets captured, escorted by Christian Bale and others to the 3:10 train to Yuma for hanging. Starts to earn respect for Bale as the journey goes, respects Bale that he’s never been a hero and was a vet who got accidentally shot by his own men in war during a retreat. Decides to help Bale get him on the train but Bale is killed. Crowe kills all of his men and gets on the train out of respect to show Bale’s son that his father did it. Yet he whistles for his horse with full intent to break free

One of the best modern western films ever made. Russell Crowe is fantastic. Great action, plot. A+ modern western.
