X-Men '97

Disappointed, thought this would be x rated

If you're even the tiniest bit of uninterested, you have to watch this. The character designs, animation, stories, editing, and soundtrack were incredible. I've always been a huge fan of X-Men more than anything in Marvel, and this just intensifies it. Episode 5 was when I knew this was amazing. I can't wait for more of it. It took me a bit to get locked in, but once I was locked in, I was LOCKED in. I also liked how complex things got, whether it was generic or not. It widened the target audience. The complexity as well as the emotion, from despair and serenity to affairs and anxiety.

The animation is beautiful and the episodes are very well written it may have a slow start but once you get to episode 5 it is top tier the only complaint is there isn’t more also I loved nightcrawler and magneto. This is the greatest comic book adaption ever 9.7/10

SO GOOD. I’ve lost watch for anyone who loves the X-Men or nostalgic things.

genuinely superb show. it’s great to see something like this, delving into a franchise that’s been untouched like this. and to do it in a style such as itself, is different and great. the campy comic book style, yet insane story and great voice acting. great show.
