The Phantom of the Opera

just. incredible… this is now my favorite non-stage version of phantom ever, the acting was phenomenal, i couldn’t stop bawling my eyes out from the unmasking to the ending, i adored how erik was so gentle and kind and how christine truly cared about him, my heart aches for them

Completely different from other renditions I’ve seen, w/a different theme & several plotpoints from the book that better flesh out the characters & story, leading to really powerful moments that are lost in other versions.
WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE THE MOST PRECIOUS SWEETHEART EVER?
