The Decameron

Really enjoyed this, it had lots of twists and really funny moments. I cant believe its based on a book written in the 14th Century.

Episodes are quite long and I can see why some people switched off but its worth watching 😊

I watched it all, it was somewhat interesting, entertaining and fun but in the end it felt like a waste of time. 6,5/10

It falls just a little shy of a success in any one category. It’s fun to glut yourself on, but it’s more an indulgence than a satisfying meal, and by the time you reach the end, it’s hard not to wish you (like the characters) had indulged a little less.

jesus christ?? i loved the beginning but it fell off the last few episodes. the way it went from nobles & servants keeping secrets & having affairs to fighting off bandits & mercenaries felt weird. the flow was wrong. also-i wanted to see pampinea suffer. that was not enough

disturbing but funny? but odd but good?
