Just like everything else Nathan has made, this is pushing the boundaries. It blows my mind how he can always be right on the cusp of creative television. The other actors killed it as well. This show is deep and disturbing at every turn. A show that demands a second watch

after reading other reviews, i’m realizing how niche the target audience for this show is.
here are my thoughts on why that might be and why it’s still worth watching: someone said it deals with white guilt; i think that is accurate. with that said, it’s difficult to make (1/?)

Incredibly tough and uncomfortable to watch during most scenes, but absolutely hilarious at the same time. The season finale was out of this world (😉) and I know many people didn’t like it, but I saw one commenter describe it as “in the end, the act is assumed to be real while reality is assumed to be an act” and I have to give them a round of applause for that interpretation 👏🏼
