I feel so bad for Steven especially since his mental health is like down the drain but one of the many reasons I like this show is that there was. Representation to stuff I almost never see on tv and it’s so dear to my heart

I love how this isn’t just a cash grab using the originals nostalgia, but it builds on the first, and adds more depth and lore to Steven. The common theme of SUF was that Steven was hurting, but due to being the person who fixes everyone else, he buried all his feelings inside.
