justice system failed these boys in 1989 and now the creators have failed them by distorting the truth to serve his own agenda
instead of claiming it to be based on a true story it should say “loosely based on a true event and heavily dramatized to feed the creators fantasies”

Ryan Murphy did a horrible job with portraying what these brothers went through. Horrible job portraying Lyle as well as Erik. If you know anything about their case, or have watched any other documentary you would agree.

This show is so inaccurate and disrespectful to not only the brothers, but many victims of sexual assault. Ryan Murphy is a seriously messed up person. If you’re thinking of watching this, don’t.

Ryan Murphy fcked up this time, he did not tell the truth about it, some things are invented and the real victims (the brothers) deserved that their story well told

Didn’t finish, but only because I canceled my Netflix subscription. Entertaining, obviously took a ton of liberties, which kind of felt disrespectful at times, but the acting was nothing to scoff at. Just the solid monologue in ‘The Sad Man’ really stood out to me.
