Midnight at the Pera Palace

I watched this when it first came out and I loved it then and I loved it now, the new season was good as well! This series is filled with mystery and love and ITS SO GOOD. 😝🤌🏼

Loved every second. The ending ❓💔 The balance between murder mystery, action, suspense, romance, and high stakes were so good. Interesting take on history, but would recommend being somewhat familiar w Turkish political climate in the 1920s. Still easy to follow tho. 9/10

I like that some of the events are based on real ones an example(SPOILER ALERT(?) Turkey becoming an independent republic under Mustafa’s leadership in 1923.

Season 2 is enjoyable but lacks the excitement of the first season. The story feels less engaging, and the pacing isn’t as gripping. While some changes in direction might appeal to certain viewers, it doesn’t quite capture the same magic. A decent watch, but not as thrilling as before.
