Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms

They refused to give ANY of the characters even the tiniest bit of character development until the last 2-3 episodes. And even then, most of the cute interactions were ruined by fan service. That being said, the last 3 episodes did have some good moments. However, I was not invested in the romance at all because it doesn’t even start as a romance, Mona just throws herself at him for 9 episodes and nothing happens. Kuroiwa is such a shallow love interest that we get absolutely zero background on, so you don’t even really care about his character at all. Mona’s best friend is the best part of the show. Everyone else besides her, Asahi, and Mona are just there and contribute nothing to the plot. I’m not even sure a good second season could redeem this show for me.

I Love the character development how they both slowly crumble away from there past selfs/there masks and confirm the reality of there feelings dispite their previous thought on the matter.
