There are excellent performances, lots of engaging references and the odd good scene or line, but overall it lacks substance, reality and grit.

this series is so freaking good, i wish cornell had more time as the villain and shades is actually so cool. i thought the ending was a little weird but i still love this

Luke felt like a hero of the people. I loved the side characters and sense of community. The final episode of season 2 also setup a really cool premise. where Luke had to become a "villain" to protect the people of harlem.
