Invasion

I really wanted to like it more. The overall plot is great and I liked learning about the characters. But… it seemed very disjointed and almost rushed. Which made it all seemed far fetched. That being said I will watch season 2 and suspend my beliefs.

S1 renewed & reinvigorated the dormant alien disaster genre, only for S2 to strip it to a melodrama where much is said but little happens. I REALLY loved S1 - the drama, horror and action are superb (S1E6 👨‍🍳💋), but S2 promised a lot w/o delivering. Maybe wait for S3 to binge.

Season 1 was sooo good, & it made me really excited to continue on to watch Season 2 … & while it certainly wasn’t terrible, I must admit I was a bit disappointed & even bored at times. I wish the excitement generated in Season 1 would have continued in the second.

It’s def a slow burn for the first season with the aliens getting maybe 10 min of screen time total. Season 2 is very good and def has a lot more to see but it’s unfinished. At this time there’s no season 3 so it ends on a cliff hanger. Hopefully season 3 wraps it all up

The series is beautiful, the story is wonderful, the visual effects are amazing, but the acting and the actors were not the best. Sometimes the acting was cheesy. I rate the series 6/10.
