This series follows around a real life bookie and his buddy in the everyday lives of a bookmaker in the older times before online sites and legal gambling. It touches on how difficult it can get when dealing with someone that does not have the money to pay the bill, in the bookie line of work you have to send a message. This show also touches on the lifestyle you will live in doing so.

I give this series 5.5 bags of popcorn as the series was a quick watch but nothing did much of grabbing my attention that I found to be more than a little chuckle. I wanted to laugh like a kid and this is not the series to do that for me. It wasn't all negative as I was enjoying the overall concept but nothing was the excitement I was wanting to see to get me more into it. I would tell maybe a sports fan to give it a watch if they have a few hours before bed but outside that I wouldn't.
