Blockbuster

Definitely had a slow start but I love the idea of bringing back to light Blockbuster. I wish it got a chance at another season because I think it could definitely get better. So many shows don’t have that great of a first season but then they get better as it progresses.

Closer to average but it deserves a thumbs down for a weak pilot episode. I gave this a chance and watched til the end, there were some highs (mainly due to movie references & nostalgia) but the writing, chemistry, and production quality were all 👎🏾

I REALLY wanted to like this series since it’s made by my favorite creators and actors and is about something I’m very interested in, but it just doesn’t have the spark. The show feels like it’s holding onto the will-they won’t-they plot and the charm of it’s cast for dear life.

It starts off pretty slow I’m not gonna lie, it gets better. I love the movie and show references, jokes are often forced tho. Characters are very loveable!! Overall it’s a cute quick sitcom to watch, would recommend if want smth to pass the time. Waiting for s2.
