Beastars is insanely overhated. People overlook this show simply cuz it’s “furries” and the weird clips they’ve seen online. Yes it’s we’re at times but if you watch past those scenes you’ll see how amazing this series truly is. It covers topics that other series sometimes don’t.

I love how dramatic it is. Yes it’s a very weird show about carnivores and herbivores questioning their instincts, interests, and dynamics, but it’s also about teenagers finding a sense of identity. It does better with politics than zootopia so 9/10

A truly amazing anime!!! It’s kind of like the anime, more mature version of Zootopia. The theming and symbolism is great plus I love all the main characters. My top ships are Haru and Legoshi and then Louis and Juno. I can’t wait to watch more when more finally drop.

An acquired taste that raise poignant questions and explore interesting concepts through flawed, complicated characters. And beyond that? Hoo-boy – this shit also happens to be unhinged in the best possible way. How does this anime keep managing to outperform itself?
