If you watched Inventing Anna or listened to the Scamanda podcast then this feels like someone put them in a blender and created Belle Gibson. It’s despicable what lengths people will go for a buck.

Don’t recommend this if you’re a hypochondriac like me bc I’m now convinced I have every illness mentioned in this show. (Also it’s good but the show jumps around and it’s a bit hard to follow what time period they’re in. Not sure why this couldn’t just be a linear story)

You almost feel sympathy for the main character. I can see why she lied. She had a tough childhood where she got no attention, so it was her only way to get people to recognize her, but that doesn’t justify her actions. The ending broke me me when her son mimicked her strategy

Couldn’t get through it.
