Young Woman and the Sea

This movie is fantastic. Although they took a few liberties for the movie, they still stuck very closely to the true story. This is such a powerful movie that brought me to tears. Top ten movie for me this year so far!

Saw the trailer to this and before anything the title put me off, sounds generic as can be. The casting put me on though. I was looking forward to maybe some epic visuals, which there are, but not on the level of me recommending it. The story itself gets annoying quite a bit. As heartwarming and cruel as it can gets, I can't not say it was well made. It just wasn't made for me. I couldn't sink into the casting or score so it made it more difficult to dive in.
