Young Woman and the Sea

This movie is fantastic. Although they took a few liberties for the movie, they still stuck very closely to the true story. This is such a powerful movie that brought me to tears. Top ten movie for me this year so far!

Solid sporting movie! I’d totally watch again a few times. Pretty interesting story and her impact on athleticism in New York at the time. Makes me want to go for a swim hehe

I just really love films like this about amazing athletic accomplishments in the face of such negativity and skepticism. Humans have done such incredible things. Trudy was a groundbreaking inspiration for women athletes. As a former swimmer I adored this.
