Outside of the casting and the fucked up wizard of oz parallels this doesn’t really feel much like a David lynch movie. The story is played pretty straight and to me it was kind of boring. I never really got invested in the plot or cared about any of the characters.

It was alright, a lot of random elements and weird sound effects but it was okay.

This is one of David Lynch’s less serious movies and I think it works for what it is. I enjoyed this but it wasn’t one of my favorites
