Pretentious confusing mess. The first and second halves are two completely different stories. The writing and execution of dialogue feels like a bad high school play.

i liked it but it was almost too woke and artsy for my feeble mind to comprehend

It was very confusing, I think I liked it. It reminds me of Beau Is Afraid, in the sense of the way the story was told. It’s hard to explain because it’s kinda like oh I’ve seen this before, but like nothing is quite like this movie at the same time.

6.5/10. One of those movies that you think about for days after watching, it’s interesting but simultaneously very weird. (Feb. 21, 2023).
