I feel like this movie would make more sense and would be better if I was on meth

Pretentious confusing mess. The first and second halves are two completely different stories. The writing and execution of dialogue feels like a bad high school play.

i liked it but it was almost too woke and artsy for my feeble mind to comprehend

reviews feel a bit harsh. i like the style of dialogue and how the protagonist for these are different from the standard. you might have to stop and think about what you just watched but it doesn’t make sense. like it tho. might read the book

It was very confusing, I think I liked it. It reminds me of Beau Is Afraid, in the sense of the way the story was told. It’s hard to explain because it’s kinda like oh I’ve seen this before, but like nothing is quite like this movie at the same time.
