What even is Nicole Kidman anymore? She's played the same character in almost all her projects, and each one is more disappointing than the last. Simple, straight-to-streaming garbage, so don't expect much. I can see the director's artistic vision, but it's so random. You have to infer several metaphors about parenting, marriage, and affairs, as well as things I can't mention because it solely relies on them for any mystery. Not much is explained, and plot lines don't survive past five minutes. I wouldn't mind the slow pace if the ending weren't completely underwhelming. Great ideas, awful execution.

It’s just so slow. Add on top that it’s also confusing. I couldn’t be bothered to continue to the end.

Good if you can get past the slow schizophrenic beginning
