If only this was a show or 2 parter. People like Zack Synder are so well-liked by me because they make movies you expect but are so unexpected. The comicness is just perfect, I could picture every shot and piece of dialogue as a stereotypical, gritty, dirty, and deep comic. This movie is iconic in the way it brings together so many genres and ideas and blends them into something brand new. You can see the inspiration it both uses and releases. The visuals and score blew me away, the story sucked me in, and the characters incinerated me. It just needed a different build.
