Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Very predictable. Went to go watch it in the movies when it first came out and Litterally fell asleep halfway through

I wanna smoke whtever these guys had making this film

I tried to do my best to just shut my brain off and enjoy this but I really couldn’t get into it. From the beginning, the pacing was very wonky and I cringed numerous times at the dialogue. I was also pretty underwhelmed with the usage of Carnage. Nothing really stood out to me

How THE FUCK can you have carnage in a movie and not have it 18 rated..

What an awful decision from the studio..

It was just a ‘meh’ film.

Historical Review: 20/11/2024

Huge improvement over the first. Amazing cinematography, better and goofier villian. It took what worked in the first, amped up to 11 and fixed issues from the 1st, it's definitely self aware. Definitely not a "good" movie, but I love it regardless. It's a short and sweet movie.
