Twelve Monkeys

Ok so hear me out…. The first hour had me fighting my urge to sleep….. my friend told me to push through and truthfully i don’t love but im happy i finished it… it was pretty interesting .. i recommend the struggle lol

One of my top 25 all-time favorites. A bizarre vibe (thanks, Terry Gilliam!) lays groundwork to some of the best over the top performances from Willis and Pitt. This is one to really get lost in. Plus, I’m a sucker for time travel movies.

pretty good ig. can be a little confusing, but it has brad pitt and bruce willis. brad pitt saved the movie for me, i liked his character. cool movie concept though

Willis, Pitt, Stowe. Three unbelievable powerhouses carry to the end. The main problem with this gorilla-sized story is the runtime. It starts slow and builds up really well. The exposition hints at what's going on with so much scepticism. There's no unnecessary production going on, it's all practical and important. I go ape for psychological thrillers and this is exactly that. No one truly knows anything about time travel but the director does not shy away from bizarre ideas. Exposing how society and world-wide industries work. The character development, beginning to end, has so much to tell because was it even 12 monkeys that changed them?

So, Bruce could have come back to 2020 to stop COVID-19, but he wanted to go back to the 90's instead. I can't say I blame him.
