I have no problem with talking about periods and puberty in a kids movie, I think that part’s great. What isn’t great is we’ve seen this same plot a thousand times and done much better

A bit bland for my taste. Lacks the emotional punch that we’ve come to expect and love from PIXAR. Still a decent movie though 🤷‍♂️

Cringy but cringe in the irl way😭🙏 perfectly explains being a preteen girl in behavior and acting LMAO and the sideplot with the mom was so sad and it really explained generational trauma well. when they went in the bamboo forest and saw their young selves i cried☹️
