I’m not a Transformers fan at all, so I’m shocked at how great this is. This was actually a super compelling character story that gripped me in the characters, world, and gorgeous animation. It’s nothing you’ve never seen before, but it doesn’t try to be. It just tries to be good

A strained friendship adds some spark, but the story and visuals feel underwhelming. The G1-inspired art is cool, yet battles are messy, and puns miss the mark. Pratt tries, but can’t touch Cullen’s hair raising voice. He is forever my Prime and Goat
