exploitation of queer trauma with an unclear & confusing message, the lgbtq+ characters were likable but they were wasted on the horrible ending and drawn out upsetting scenes, it actually could’ve been good if they knew what they wanted to say and didn’t abuse the subject matter

Good, not horror. The little moments with the LGBTQ+ characters were what made the movie. The “true horror” parts were about not being able to be yourself or trust people, & obviously the cruel, tricky, traumatic conversion tactics, rather than the actual “intended horror” parts.

I thought it would be worse but that doesn’t mean it was good. There wasn’t a great plot or storyline that was all over the place. Everything was shoved in the last 20 minutes but stu is cute.
