They Live

This was a okay movie especially for the time it was made! There is a plot twist that you just wont forget. Although the fight scenes will make you cringe its all in all okay. 6/10

7/10 I was scarred from Vampires and expected the same boring storylines & drawn out scenes with no purpose. This completely changed my perspective, there’s so much meaning in this film and the execution is quite good especially for the 80s.

really cool effects; i love the anti-reaganism of it all; felt a little oddly paced and the one liners just felt sooo 80s action to me. can’t decide if that’s a positive or negative.

Although explicitly cheesy, it is also explicitly raw with its social commentary.
