A touching and powerful film featuring Mikey Rourke’s best performance.

Mickey Rourke is incredible in this. It’s quite a sad film with moments of levity sprinkled throughout. It was awesome to see some of the behind the scenes of semi-pro/pro wrestling because I’m not very familiar with it. Amazing ending too.

Mickey O’Rourke is perfect in this tragic story about a man who is chasing his past. This was a surprise hit for me.

I can't decide how I feel about this movie. It is very realistic to the indie wrestlers' lived experience. I like the film, but it is really difficult to get through at times without cringing. it's a tragedy, and it is tragic to watch. I think that speaks to its quality. 7/10
